Change is hard. Therapy can make it easier.
When life throws you a curveball (or several, let’s be honest), it can disrupt your whole routine and leave you wondering how to regain your footing. With all the challenges and responsibilities most of us have these days, it can be hard to figure out when and how to fix what’s not working on your own. Together, we will find a way for you to regain your balance and move forward in a way that feels good for you. Whether that means doing therapy one-on-one or with your partner, I can help you do more than just tolerate your daily life. I will help you reconnect with yourself and the people you love, navigate changes with confidence, and get more enjoyment out of life.
Hello! I'm glad you're here.
I’m Dr. Renqvist. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I am an expert in helping people reduce emotional pain and make the changes they want to make. Whether you’re struggling to overcome a difficult past, communication or relationship issues, sleepless nights, or overwhelming stress related to life changes, there are scientifically proven ways to get relief.
I have extensive training and 17 years of experience providing evidence-based therapy. I help people (individuals and couples) improve communication and closeness, increase confidence navigating life changes, improve sleep, and achieve a healthy life balance. I use evidence-based strategies and compassionate accountability to help people reach the goals that are most important to them. I will help you figure out how to make the changes you want to make. If you’re not sure what you need, I can help you figure that out, too.
Trust is an important part of therapy. You deserve to be believed and understood. Therapy should be a place where you feel comfortable enough to share how you truly think and feel, without fear of judgment. It is extremely important to me that my clients feel supported in living a life in line with their values, whatever those may be. I support clients with a wide range of beliefs, identities, and lifestyles.
My therapeutic approach and the specific treatments I offer are detailed below. My views on the reasons people feel and act how they do are explained in my blog. You can view more about my training background here.
